WAVE is a cash-pay practice and does not bill insurance. We do not use your information for insurance claims processing or insurance-related purposes.

Service Providers.

We work with a small number of third-party vendors who help us operate our practice, including our electronic health record system (Aesthetic Record), scheduling and payment platform (Square), and website provider (Growth99). These vendors are permitted to use your information only as necessary to provide services to WAVE and are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data protection agreements.

Legal Requirements.

We may disclose information when required to do so by law, court order, or regulatory authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of WAVE, our patients, or the public.

Practice Transition.

In the event of a sale or transfer of WAVE Medical Aesthetics PLLC, patient and contact information may be transferred to a successor practice. Any such transfer would be conducted in accordance with applicable law, including HIPAA.

4. SMS Messaging

WAVE Medical Aesthetics PLLC uses SMS text messaging to communicate with patients and prospective patients regarding appointments, appointment reminders, follow-up care instructions, and practice updates including promotions and special offers.

Consent
WAVE only sends SMS messages to individuals who have provided express written or digital consent to receive text messages from our practice. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to SMS communications, you agree to receive text messages from WAVE Medical Aesthetics at the number provided.

Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 4 messages per month depending on your appointment schedule and communication preferences.

Opt-Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message from WAVE. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To re-enroll, reply START or contact us directly.

Costs
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Data Use
Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in status are used solely to communicate with you about your care and our practice. Mobile information, including phone numbers and consent records, is never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes.

Carriers
WAVE’s SMS program is supported by third-party messaging platforms. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
